OUR GLASS
The glass we use is 40mm laminated safety glass.
This is substantially thicker than any glass that you will come into contact with in everyday use:
We use laminated safety glass because:
Only up to 20mm thick glass can be toughened
When toughened glass breaks it shatters into many small pieces
Laminated glass will hold together if it should break
Safety, durability and the ability to be everlasting are high priority in all of our designs.
With a design team, glass laminating facility, sandblasting booth, screen-printing table, slumping kilns and a water-jet cutting machine at our disposal all of the glass work is done in-house. This eliminates the reliance on outside contractors and you are dealing with the people who create your memorial.
